Ingredients
- 1 package (85 grams) flavored gelatin (any flavor you like)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 can (395 grams) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup hot water
- 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Flavored Gelatin:
- In a medium bowl, dissolve the flavored gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir well until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Add 1 cup of cold water and mix well.
- Pour the gelatin mixture into a mold or serving dish and refrigerate for about 1-2 hours, or until it is set but not firm.
- Prepare the Milk Layer:
- In a separate bowl, dissolve the unflavored gelatin in 1 cup of hot water. Stir well until completely dissolved.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract (if using) to the unflavored gelatin mixture. Stir until well combined.
- Assemble the Jelly Pudding:
- Once the flavored gelatin layer is set, gently pour the milk mixture over it.
- Return to the refrigerator and chill for another 2-4 hours, or until both layers are completely set.
- Serving:
- Once set, you can unmold the jelly pudding by dipping the mold briefly in warm water to loosen the edges. Invert it onto a serving plate.
- Alternatively, you can serve it directly from the dish.
- Optional Garnishes:
- Fresh fruit slices, whipped cream, or mint leaves can be added on top for decoration.
