- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme

- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed. Add the sliced onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Sauté until the vegetables are softened.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and mix well with the vegetables.
- Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Add dried oregano, thyme, and crushed red pepper flakes if using. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes until the liquid reduces slightly.
- Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture to a baking dish.
- Place slices of provolone cheese on top of the mixture, covering it evenly. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the provolone.
